Kathy Davern - Head of Facility

Kathy Davern has 25 years of global experience in supplying high quality antibodies and antibody-related services to the Australian scientific and medical communities.

Previous to heading the Facility, Kathy was based in Melbourne at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.

Pauline Van Eeden

Dr Pauline Van Eeden - Research Associate

Pauline has over 25 years experience in Medical Laboratory Research, her role involves the maintenance of cell lines, production of monoclonal antibodies and immunological assays. Pauline is undertaking research to understand the mechanisms involved in the immune response to vaccines and the genetics involved in resistance to therapeutic drugs.

 Jessica Lonsdale

Jessica Lonsdale - Laboratory Technician

Jessica Lonsdale joined the Facility in March 2008, after working at the UWA Biomedical Research Facility at Shenton Park. Jess maintains all cell lines, manages the Bioreactors and is responsible for production and purification of monoclonal antibodies.

Kevin Li - Research Assistant

Kevin Li joined the Facility in March 2012. Kevin has many years of experience in biomedical research and his role in the Facility includes maintenance of cell lines, production of monoclonal antibodies and immunological assays. Kevin has commenced a new project screening random peptide phage display libraries for rare compounds that bind to target antigens.
