Research overview

The Advanced Clinical and Translational Cardiovascular Imaging laboratory uses cutting-edge cardiac imaging techniques such as PET, MRI and CT and focuses on the role of inflammation in the development of cardiovascular disease.

Using a diverse set of scientific approaches from mechanistic translational science program, epidemiological, machine and deep learning methods; the team uses a trans-disciplinary approach with long term goals of improving risk prediction and risk stratification for people with suspected or at risk of cardiovascular disease.
