Bryant Stokes 

Professor Bryant Stokes (Chair) AM, RFD, KSJ, MBBS, HON DSc (Curtin), FRACS, FRCS
Professor Stokes is an eminent Professor of Neurosurgery, with a strong professional clinical profile and a proven track record at the executive and operational levels of healthcare and research. Professor Bryant Stokes is the current Acting Director General of Health. As Chairman of the Neurotrauma Research Program since its inception in 1998 Professor Stokes has long been an advocate for Neurotrauma research that facilitates better outcomes for people with traumatic spinal cord and brain injuries.

 Liz Behjat

The Hon. Liz Behjat, MLC (representing the State Government)
Liberal Party Member for the North Metropolitan Region, first elected to Parliament September 2008. Currently Deputy Chair of Committees, Chair of Standing Committee on Public Administration and Member of the Parliamentary Services Committee.

Professor Peter Leedman MBBS, FRACP, PhD
Professor Leedman is an Endocrinologist, Head of the Laboratory for Cancer Medicine and Director of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

 Barry Marshall Professor Barry Marshall AC, FRACP, FRS, FAA, DSc
Professor Marshall is a Nobel Prize laureate for his research on Helicobacter and peptic ulcers. He holds the positions of Co-Director of The Marshall Centre for Infectious Diseases Research & Training, Clinical Professor of Microbiology (University of Western Australia) and Clinical Professor of Medicine (University of Western Australia).
 Anton Zappelli

Mr Anton Zappelli (representing the spinal injured community)
Mr Zappelli sustained a spinal cord injury following a car accident at age 17. He is now an advocate for road safety and workplace accident prevention.
