Are you up for the challenge?
Join fellow walkers as we challenge ourselves to raise a minimum of $1,000 each, and walk one day to defeat breast and ovarian cancers.
On Saturday 6 May 2017, the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research is holding the inaugural Hawaiian Walk for Women's Cancer. You can walk 30kms or the marathon distance of 42kms enjoying Perth’s beautiful outdoors. There will be fun along the way at Hawaiian shopping centres, great food and plenty of support.
Our women’s cancer research is focused particularly on defeating breast and ovarian cancers. One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and while ovarian cancer is rare the five year survival rate is just 43%.
You can challenge the future for women facing cancer.
