SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

See below the Scholarship opportunities currently offered.

Perkins Student Vacation Research Scholarships

Perkins invites applications for Summer Vacation Scholarships. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable a student to carry out research within the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. These scholarships are particularly valuable for students considering postgraduate research degrees. It is expected that the projects will last for at least 6 weeks. It is a condition of receiving a Perkins Vacation Scholarship that the successful applicant provide a short written report of the result of the scholarship and give a 10 minute seminar on the project, along with the other successful applicants.

For an idea of opportunities presented for students, view the Perkins Student Projects brochure here. Applications for the Vacation Scholarship program will are now closed until 2024.

Prior to applying, be sure to review the Perkins’ Research / Labs and disease focus areas to know who you’d like to speak with, and reach out to get in contact with relevant Perkins researchers.
