Buzz Palmer is one of Australia’s leading and most visible voices in entrepreneurship and MedTech innovation. Buzz is the CEO of the Actuator (Australia’s National MedTech Catalyst), founding partner in Dialectica Group, serial entrepreneur and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Monash University. Buzz is a passionate technologist who enjoys mentoring startups to execute on their strategy and commercialisation journey.

Buzz is a dynamic business leader with a track record of entrepreneurial success in medical technologies. Primarily, Buzz is focused on the translation of next-generation technologies, creating and leading innovative commercial and technology solutions into new markets. With experience from start-ups to large corporations across the EU, North America, India, Arabian Gulf and Asia-Pacific, he brings a global perspective on business, entrepreneurship, and product development. With a background in orthopaedic regenerative medicine and microsurgery, Buzz is ideally positioned to strategically drive innovative medical technology solutions that provide a significant impact on society.

Buzz holds or has held the positions of Strategic Advisor to the European Commission, NHMRC Health Innovation Advisory Council Member, Council Member of the Australian Federal Governments Global Innovation Linkage program, advisor on the Victorian Government’s Innovation Expert Panel and Non-Executive Board Director to Carrington Health. Buzz also sits on a number of start-up boards, industry/academic committees and government working groups within Australia and globally.
