Pauline CharmanThe Lotterywest BioDiscovery Centre is led by science educator, Pauline Charman.  Pauline, an experienced high school teacher has also taught undergraduate students at Curtin and Murdoch universities.  She has held positions as curriculum officer and writer within the WA Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority and is on the Human Biological Science Curriculum Advisory Committee.

In more recent years, Pauline was a Curriculum Consultant for UWA’s SPICE program and has assisted the WA Department of Commerce establish an international link with the US/Canadian BioGENEius Challenge – a biotechnology research competition for high school students.
