Diana Forsyth - Chief Operating Officer

Diana joined Perkins as Chief Operating Officer in October 2018.

An experienced Business Operations Leader and Management Consultant, Diana has worked with a diverse range of organisations in the health, education, community service and resources sectors. Her experience has included managerial roles in both commercial and not for profit organisations including with Rio Tinto and St John of God Health Care. With a career focus on leading change and business improvement , Diana brings to the Perkins a commitment to excellence in service delivery. Since 1995, Diana has served on boards as a chair and non-executive director, and has founded and led management consulting practices since 2000. She lived in Cambridge, United Kingdom from 2006 to 2016, where she advised Australian and European businesses and worked with Cambridge University Health Partnership organisations.

 Tony-Spezzacatena

Tony Spezzacatena  - Chief Financial Officer
Tony Spezzacatena was appointed as Director, Finance and Company Secretary in 2009. He is responsible for the overall financial management of the Institute and Linear Clinical Research Ltd.  Previously he held the position of Director of Finance at St John of God Hospital Murdoch and was a company director of a private day surgery hospital.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.

 Emma Stone

Emma Stone - Executive Manager Strategic Development

Emma Stone joined the Perkins Research Support Executive team in early 2018. Together with the Director and team, her role is to drive strategic research-focused business development opportunities. With a passion for healthcare and a Bachelor of Science in genetics and microbiology, Emma has focused her career in the medical and biotechnology sectors. With 10+ years in a diverse range of senior leadership roles in industry, she is excited to have moved back to the for-purpose space with the goal of enabling the scientific experts to focus on their innovative research. Emma has recently completed her Master of Business Administration at the University of Western Australia and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Paige Gibbs - Chief Marketing Officer

With a background in education, the arts, marketing, fundraising and communications, Paige joined the Perkins at the end of 2017 after spending nine years as the inaugural Executive Manager of Marketing, Fundraising and Communications for RSPCA NSW. She is credited with growing a team of five to 28 and annual income from $7M to $30M. Prior to this role, she was Creative Director for a commercial events company – servicing clients such as Sony, Microsoft, Hyundai, Panasonic and Siemens Medical. Paige was named one of Fundraising and Philanthropy Magazine’s seven Movers and Shakers for 2015. In 2016, Paige was named as one of the Top 50 Chief Marketing Officers in Australia in CMO Magazine’s annual awards. Paige returned to Perth to take up this role after living in Sydney for over 20 years. She is also a published playwright.
